Day 0: Arrival in Arusha

As you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our friendly driver will be ready to welcome you, holding a sign with your name. You will be smoothly transferred to your accommodation at Summit Hotel. Relax and prepare for your upcoming safari adventure.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your private safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha  at 8:00 AM. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 2 hours (120 km). Upon arrival, embark on a 5-6 hour game drive in Tarangire, known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees.

Tarangire National Park Highlights:

  • Elephants: Marvel at large herds of elephants, often with playful calves.
  • Diverse Wildlife: Spot lions lounging under trees, giraffes grazing on the open plains, and zebras and wildebeests migrating through the park.
  • Birdwatching: Look for various bird species, including the African fish eagle and colorful lovebirds.
  • Scenic Landscapes: Enjoy the park’s stunning vistas, including its distinctive baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will start by descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, exploring its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy a hot lunch inside the crater, surrounded by its scenic beauty.

After the game drive, return to Arusha, which takes about 2 hours. Depending on your schedule, you may have time to explore Arusha or relax before your departure.
